CBOT
CBOT is an acronym for the Chicago Board of Trade.
CBOT stock is traded on the
NYSE under the
Ticker Symbol: BOT. This exchange was established in 1848 and is the oldest futures and options exchange in the world.
More than 50 different options and futures contracts are traded by over 3,600 CBOT members through open outcry pit-trading and electronic trading.
On 17th October 2006 the CBOT announced it was being merged into the
CME.
