Comments on Market Review

Hi everyone, this thread will not be locked like the Market review so you can post your comments about my reviews or share your views on the market.

Thanks

Laurent
Larry, thank you for your notes as I am trying to learn Elliott Wave. Much appreciated...
Thanks for your preferred count. That's the one I prefer also. Do you trade longer term as for your old 401k accounts or do you day trade everything? I am trying to see if you have a daily E.W. count? Thanks.

Hi mucis I mainly daytrade but could eventually have longer term trade on another account, as of daily charts yes I have wave counts on it same with weekly but I keep these for myself.

Laurent,

I am leaning toward your blue label, 3 of 3. =) Just curious, do you use fibonacci timing? Thanks.

I do not use Fibonacci timing I have studied a bit but it would have taken up too much of my time, I'm not saying I won't study it more closely in the future.
I don't want to waste anyones time and this is not meant to be rude in any way but I find

EW too complicated for my simple brain. I tend to work better with Horizontal numbers best...

Just give me some volume, $ticks and some S/R above and below the current price and I'm good to go...

I beleive Laurent said that they don't do fibs because they are time consuming and I feel the same way
about EW. This is not meant to diminish the great work done here....It's great to have someone come up with
the numbers for us but I couldn't do it myself.

Like most things it's about finding what works for you and what doesn't. I'll be following along Gio but I'm not
in a position to put as much time as this would require at the moment. Fantastic analysis though..!!

Bruce I can understand you, as what is important at the end is that you feel comfortable with the method that suits you the most when trading and that this method makes you earn money.

For me EW combined with the TTT book is the method that suits me the best for my trading so we are both comfortable with our own method and earn money with it.

Following my special weekend report the market did finally closed the gap that was left at 1204 as this possibility was mentioned so we may have a good rally from here but we can also go lower to the next support zone around 1196.
I am now evaluating if I should keep posting charts as I didn't get much comments from the one I have posted the last two weeks and considering that this takes a lot of my time I am not sure I want to continue this as I don't really need to do this I did that thinking that this could help some of you and to show that it was possible to trade using EW and the TTT book.
One thing I will continue to do will be to send special updated wave counts charts to Richard TTT subscribers as they have showed great interest on my way of analyzing the market. I have also learned that some places do charge more then a thousand dollars to show you how to trade EW and they don't even know half of what I have learned over the years. So I really need to take some time to think about that as today I had a very good trading day as I didn't feel I had to show any trades that I did on the forum and even if I knew today was a sell short day I bought 3 times and made more then 12 points in the TF Futures as this is the contract that I specialized and make most of my money.

Hi Laurent,
You started posting your EW charts and comments in this forum then it is upto you to decide whether to continue or not. It is obvious that you knew in advance this work will be taking much of your time.

You may cut down a considerable time by leaving the charts size as before and every reader manages them the way he wants (e.g. I am now enlarging your small charts).

There are various reasons for which you are not finding comments to your charts: may be the readers are satisfied and they find no need to post comments ... or they disagree but are behaving well (as expected) respecting your efforts to share your interpretations. I think it is a blessing ... you may remember what was happening in the other forums ...

Thanks for your efforts and wish you the best.
Thanks for the reply map, I think people have more difficulties to understand the EW concept and that's ok. I wanted to share my views on EW but realize now that this is not for everyone as it is not easy to understand so reason why I will post less wave count but more pic's of trades that I will take instead. This will be done if I have time of course.
