It depends where you are in line the contracts that were there before you will get filled first for example you can be sitting at a price and never be filled because not enough contracts were traded to fill yours.

nope pretty sure it's lag. sometimes it's up to 4-5 ticks off. plus on a high volume future like the emini i would say thats pretty unlikely no?
