asp.net?

More a techie question here for the site owner, I was wondering how you put your data onto the internet. I want to add some pivots on my blog for FTSE stocks, I would like to try and automate this process, I can see from your site that you use asp.net. Do you get the data directly from say Tradestation, then send it to a database which then puts it on the web using asp.net? Or do you use a web service for that?
Advice would be greatly appreciated
