What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer which can be retrieved by web pages (and saved by web pages) when you are browsing those.

How are cookies used?

Cookies have a number of uses and can be very useful for the trader using this site. At the time of writing this (June 2005) we started implementing cookies on some of our web pages to remember settings that the user last used. We are primarily doing this on our calculator pages such as our Pivot Calculator and our Fibonacci Calculator.

How does this help you?

If you have cookies enabled on your browser, then this means that the settings and numbers that you last used on our pages are saved when you leave the page and restored the next time you visit the page. This helps you by saving you time.

Can you disable cookies?

Yes, your browser has a number of security settings which will allow you to set the type of cookies that can be saved on your computer.

If you completely disable cookies on your computer then the previously used numbers on our calculators will not be restored when you visit the page again.

Are cookies safe?

Cookies used on this site are very safe. They do not store any personally identifiable information and are used only to enhance your usability of this site.
