New trader please help!

Hi,

I have mt4 and a few pip finite indicators, and have an idea of how to use my own analysis to try and read the trends and markets from learning.

Problem I have is when it comes to lot size and trading. On mt4 I have a 279gbp bank balance but cant trade over 0.05 lot size. I want to scalp so would like to be able to place bigger trades. I am using oanda and altho i set to 100 leverage they say i cant use more than 30

I am very confused please help me

I just want to be able to place some trades and see them move quicker in profit or loss. I feel like at this rate it would take me a year to make 10 dollars!
