Have you noticed that while the temps outside continue to rise, the markets are definitely not cooling off? Beginning in the middle of May, 20 handle days started occurring on a regular basis. From a high of 1341.90 with a trip that spanned over 100 handles to a low of 1229.70 the pits are rocking! Average true range has gone from under 10 at the beginning of 2006 to over 18 on June 15th.
Likewise, the Emini has seen 5 – yes that is 5, million contract days and one day came close to 2 million. The daily range pushed almost 30 handles on a couple of occasions over the last 6 weeks.
>From our bird's eye view we are seeing more energy, more people and more volume flowing in the pit. Whether it is our new Fed Chairman or the competition between global economies as the cause, the "Biggie" is definitely in the center of the picture. This week brings another Fed announcement so while the beginning of the week may be slow – Thursday and even Friday are bound to see some good action.

Insight, our newest channel, will launch in the fall. We had hoped to get it on the air for summer, but with so much price action going on, well how could we leave the pits?
Also look for News Audio – a news only channel. New news, old news, and breaking news – Nothing but News will launch soon. This channel will be a summary of all the important news stories without all the commercials.
