would 4/14 be considered a 3-I day?
It has a selling tail, TPO count, and RE to the down side... just wondering.

Hopefully JP will answer this as well but here is my answer.
Which market were you looking at?
I just did a little write up why I didn't really think that Friday was a 3-I day and then after I posted the answer I noticed that you were talking about Thursday so I've edited this answer.
Yes, I think that Thursday (in the ES) was exactly that - a 3-I day. Also I think that the stats quoted in the book about 3-I days came true if I'm not mistaken.
Although I've read about Special Situations I haven't actively sought them out and taken note of them. Thank you for brining them to my (our) attention as I think that this would have been a valuable bit of information to be aware of on Friday morning.
