Maintaining an orderly #emini channel

The reason that we're in the #emini channel together is so that we can benefit from each other's knowledge and support etc.

If someone is spoiling the channel for you then we need to do something about it. Here are some ideas.

You can put the person on ignore:
/ignore nick
(where nick is the person's nick)

You can complain to one of the ops (with an @ sign) and ask them to do something about it.

If there are no ops about then you can post the questionable comments here on the #emini forum so that we can review them and if necessary ban the person. Please also do a /whois nick and post that information (the information will usually be printed to the Status window) as well so that we know the technical details of who you are talking about.

If you think that you've been unfairly banned then you can appeal to the complaints and comments here in this forum. We believe that we are fair and hope that you can expect to be treated fairly.

We are all here with the same objective and we won't let 1 or 2 people spoil it for us.

Please feel free to post any extra suggestions here...
Hi guy...Just browsing andcurious about your chat room...
It's not my channel - belongs to the members. Free and easy to join at anytime.

Then just type:
/nick Rex1234

Replace Rex1234 with whatever nickname you want to use. Let me know what you think of it.
