Stock Scam: German Stock Insider - OYQ.F (TKMD.F)

Many of you may have received an email with a very slick PDF attachment. Here is a copy of the PDF you might have received:



This is a pump and dump scam. The spammers have already loaded up on these stocks and when the public buys them it will rise and they will dump their holdings. This pump and dump spam scam was sent out over the Internet on 20 June 2007 and it is estimated that 9% of the approximately 60 billion spam e-mail messages sent around the globe that day were this email.

The remarkable difference between this spam and others is that this has a very slick and coherent and well presented PDF attachment. It's the best and most believable that's ever been seen.

100% of these unsolicited recommendation emails are pump and dump scams. Stay well away from them.

Also watch out in the future because with these types of PDF's they will probably start putting big names like Merrill Lynch's letter heads across the top of them to try and make them more believable.
