JP,
Can you explain the strategy around the Opening Range. What is it that you look for? And as the day progresses how does the OR strategy relate to this? For example, what does it mean under the following circumstance:
1) we trade only above the OR (e.g. should we be only LONG)?
2) we trade only below the OR (e.g. should we be only SHORT)?
3) we trade on both sides of the OR (e.g. does this mean two sided trading all day)?
thanks.

if we open above or below the va by a signifigant amount i look to go short or long looking for the market to try to get back to value (balance).
if we trade on both sides of the or we should ended up with 2 sided trading.

JP,
When you take a directional trade back towards the VA if we open significantly outside the VA then you use the OR to determine where to place your stops right? If I remember correctly, with the ES, you use 1 handle above the OR high for shorts and the oposite for longs.
