beginners question on pivots

Ok, this seems kind of dumb. re e-miniSP500: The pivot calc seems awfully easy but I got confused on the timings. 1) Open high close of what time period? floor hours or the 24 hr globex? 2) if the latter, what time for open/close. 3) if comparing pivot from last session, what open time is used for comparison? floor hours or 24?

(1) The Daily Notes uses 24 hr globex but with the calculator you can put in anything you want. Some traders use RTH and others 24 hours.
(2) Globex open is at 16:30 the prior day
(3) Use the same session for comparing for each. i.e. don't mix globex from previous session with RTH from current session.

Is there some cheat web site that shows just the OHLC for the Overnight Session on the YM?
I'm trying to do Pivots on the YM just for the overnight sessions.

Not that I know of and that would be tough information to find on the web. That's the sort of info that you could generate as a side effect of a good back testing program.
