Online trader with practice account

Hi Guys,
I have been reading and researching as much as I can about day trading and trading in general. Now is the time to open an account with an online brokerage like scottrade, etrade, etc. but I thought I would post a quick question here first to get any advice/suggestion.
Any recommended online houses? plus which ones will offer a free practice account so I can play for a week or so..??

I don't know as I don't use them - I've just seen pt_emini mention them and I have a lot of respect for pt's opinion.
