I have to admit, almost every chart I follow has the look like it is about to explode to the upside. The look like big money is about to come in, and keep working, and it is going to go way up. Now, and here's the part where this is almost useless information, this can mean two things. Either the read is exactly right, and this 'bull' has a long ways to go, or it is being made to look this way. If it's the first, it's tough to do a lot this late in the game without a decent pullback, I mean as far as daily timeframe. If it's the latter, great, if you plan to stand in front of this runaway freight train that is giving clue after clue after clue it has no intention to slow down, in fact, it's picking up steam going downhill, headed right for you standing there on the tracks. Yes, I'll be watching the key areas above, but at this point I am only expecting small reactions at each of them as this stairsteps up to levels we can only laugh about now. Just some thinking out loud. It ain't worth much, but it's free :-)

Yes, T nailed the exact bottom to almost the tick and minute, was willing to play it, and was willing to stay with it for the long haul. Like I said, play of the year for the forum.
So, tomorrow FASB votes on the mark-to-market, I heard before the market opens. But, wouldn't this be priced in? There is no hint they won't vote affirmative on the proposed changes. If the market explodes on this, it says they didn't expect the passing of the changes. So, there should be no reaction, or a sell the news. Yet this was touted as a major catalyst for the new bull, 2,000 points 'instantly' they said.
And the big jobs report. With the data today, it may be even worse than expected. Yet they hang on the small upticks in the other reports, saying the economy is turning. Classic ignore the bad news in an uptrend mode. So, unless the report was truly horrendous, I think they explode up on anything else, as they are relieved of the worry.
That leaves the G20. I can't imagine anything out of that that the market wouldn't like, or that would surprise the market. If anything, they will focus on the positive spin we will surely see, as everyone wants to talk the market up. So, all in all, I see only positive catalysts here, nothing but blue sky, as they say. This is a call-buyer's market, in my opinion. Now, let's see if something, some really bad shoe gets dropped in here. With so many simply awful things just out there in hiding, that can happen at any time...

So far, this is playing out exactly. All charts I was watching did explode upward. The market is smoking to new highs for the 'bull', and the VIX is collapsing. Everyone is giddy with joy. Things are as they should be, in this, the best of all possible worlds, to quote Voltaire.
