I was long in copper were the arrow is but with lack of a proper tradingplan I was out too early unfortunatly.
I hope I can get long again if this plays out here.
I think it is very difficult with the continuous contract compared
with the actual (I think now July) because the high number of contracts traded. But it was not so a couple of weeeks ago!
So it is hard to know how reliable the continuous contract are.
If there are anyone that have some opinion on that it would
be nice hear.

Yes, Mats, copper is seeing the 4PT. I have an upsloping set, and it came right off the lower //. Copper up implies that they think the economy is recovering. If the economy is recovering, the desire for gold lessens, and hence it goes down. Another sign they think the worst has passed. I think they are delusional, but that's another matter. We may have a 'double dip', so they may play the 'up' game until the second dip is pushed into their faces, and that may not be until next year...

Just keep in mind I am not making any recommendations or giving any advice (I never do either), I'm just stating my opinions on the technical analysis.

quote:Mats, did you play off this 4PT? It's continuing to do quite well off it.
