9:09 koolblue: same pattern... big money flat, small money buying!
09:17 Robin: 8:45 the futures are trading firmly to the upside in pre-open, currently suggesting an SPX CASH open in the vicinity of
the 936-936 area. with the gap opening to the upside, firm support for today's session will be Friday's 920 close, with
first support at the 930 level - the prior swing top. resistance will be first at the 938 weekly projected resistance high,
then in a range betwen the 943-950 area. for the daily chart, Friday's push above the 914 level put the 10-day upward
phase back in force; the 20 and 45-day cycle upward phases are still deemed to be in force off the 878.94 swing low,
with the 20-day target to the 934.36 - 947.27 level looking to be satisfied with the early action. hourly chart was bullish
on the SPX above the 903 level, which will remain the case as we head into today's session. Note: I have to be out for
the greater-majority of today's session, next post later in the afternoon. here is the hourly cycle/channel chart updated to
Friday's close:

09:19 Robin: Good Morning, overnight all world markets are trading higher. Today the 10 point futures pump came at the Asian side. Must be just a coincidence Treasury Geithner is in Asia today.... d:^). They come in at 02:15 to 02:30 pumping the futures from 924 to 932.5. At 09:00 futures are at 932.50 so we get the forced gap up open above the 930 high this morning. In two weeks we have now seen the three ways they pump the futures to force cash buy programs at our open, twice at 03:00 Europe, once at 07:00, our market and now the Asian at 02:15. Those time frames 10 point futures pumps are set in stone, seen it a thousand times since the 2003 low.

the 942 level, plus or minus. today's session has first resistance at the 947-950 range, support at the 933 daily projected
support low, plus or minus 2 points. daily chart has each of the 10, 20 and 45-day cycles pointing upward, with the
earliest the 45-day should peak being 6/5/09. however, the smaller 10 and 20 day cycles could peak at anytime. today's
session favors selling for the first half of the day, then perhaps strength developing again off of whatever low would form
into later in the period. here is the hourly cycle/channel chart updated to yesterday's close:

09:46 Robin: Good Morning, overnight markets are drifting mixed SnP has traded down to 934.50 and up to 942.50 at 08:00. The 934 overnight low is in the daily support window and should hold support there today. Yesterday the futures topped at 947.25. The 1.618 extension target was 948.75 for the wave 3 of the pattern. A typical retrace of 23 to 38% of wave 3 targets 933.75 to 925. Using typical wave analysis if the retrace is quick and holds in the 23-38% zone then wave 5 can go as high as 960 to 980. If the retrace uses up a lot of time going sideways like waiting for the .....JOBS... report drama then odds of getting past 950 are not very high. From here we just monitor this retrace and go from there.
We are out for PT/OT 10 to 12, next update at 13:30.
