Its all the same stuff no matter how we slice it and its been around long before us. Is it best to learn it as dogma in specific structured ways or as concepts to be applied by the individual? Hard to say, depends how big the audience is i think.
in the end we want to use our tools to arbitrage balance and imbalance no matter where we find it and/or can see it. Indicators have the same nature as the lines but most people cant combine conflicting signals. when they think there seeing more there just getting confused.
doesn't matter, i see patterns, fibs, bolinger bands, mov avg, ect.. all over the chart if i choose to see them. I have nothing against any of them. They all work.i see agendas, orders being worked, or algos. Our tools spot there behavior and when there done we move on to the next.
These are just a few ways to come up with a trade on Friday. there were a dozen more to see the short trade also. Which one can you see
1. is my way and was not taught to me by anybody. It is my idea balance, Andrews, and his 5 simple rules.
2,3 is you name it, add fibs and patterns
4. is median line way

Thank you Jim, As you know, its a thing of Beauty when you get the balance tuned in. There is ittle bit of influence from everybody in these lines.
What I was thinking about when i posted was, filters, triggers, sorting, and the many ways to do it. What came first, the chicken or the egg.
