i do not know if any of you listen to terry laundry's audio's... but in a recent audio he spoke of a joe who had shown him the best cycle work he had ever seen...fyi, it was the joed i have mentioned here many times who is my trading buddy.

I used to listen to Terry every week, then I quit him cold turkey, like I did Carl Futia, who I also used to follow every day, for the same reason. I got totally fed up with them sounding like CNBC: "Oh, we're going higher, much higher. New all-time highs soon. This thing isn't ever going to stop, this is a big up cycle, it's got a lot left, when this happens it's way higher for the markets..." Yeah, I get it get, rah-rah-rah. When they pump over $25 trillion into the system and most of it goes into speculation in the markets, like roofer's mom said long ago, it's going up. Like it takes a lot of skill to figure that out.

I'm not knocking Terry, he's one of the world's greatest analysts, and now we know a good part of why, Joed was his teacher. But listening to him and Carl over and over and over with the rah-rah-rah, I just couldn't listen any more. If they said it's going up, but at the likely cost of literally wrecking the entire world, then maybe I could stand it. If they said it like roofer, hold your nose and take the money, okay then. But to sound like it's a great thing when it's arguably one of the most heinous things ever done, well, I can't listen.

It's funny, too, because Terry does have this longer term cycle that shows new lows coming in a monster crushing sell-off, yet he seemed to think that wouldn't be coming for some time, and come from much, much, much higher levels. I haven't followed him for a few months now, so I have no idea where he stands at this point. Probably more bullish than ever, calling for ES 1,800?

jim if you had listened to the audios you would have understood.terry laundry stated that he JUST RECENTLY had been shown cycle work that was so powerful it jolted his perception because the outcome differed radically from his. he said it was from a trader named joe.. the way he described it i knew it was joed. joed was not his teacher.. joed was his jolter.

what he said would be the equivalent of you saying'' well crew, i've just recently been exposed to some work that if correct is so powerful that i will have to rethink everything i have shown you here''for any trader with a long standing rep to say that publicly is quite an admission.

Ah, I see. I tried to listen to his latest audios, but with three segments it was about an hour total, and it was just grating on me so much I gave up. Pretty cool, though, that Joed's work had such an influence on him. You are one lucky guy to have been shown so much by him.

What file are you refering to roofer? I did not hear him talking about joe :)
