Prop Trading Firms in Atlanta?

Hello everyone,

Please, does anyone know prop trading firms with offices in Atlanta?

Please, could someone explain the concept of prop trading? Please, describe what they generally require from new trainees? in terms what kind of contract should I expect to sign?

Are there any better route to day trading for someone with limited capital and experience?

Thanks.

Prop trading firms are the ones wherein you would trade the firm's capital rather then the client's. Today, the most common prop firms are the ones where you would put up $5,000, $10,000, or more and then you would trade using 10:1 intraday leverage.
In some prop firms, traders will receive a base salary and a bonus. Traders will trade stocks, bonds, options, etc. in an effort to make money for the firm. If they do good, then they will be given bonuses. But if they don't, traders will often times be let go in a short order. Some firms will mandate their traders to enroll in training courses which of course costs a lot.
