CME E-mini MSCI EAFE futures

This new product is scheduled to launch March 20, 2006 and will be the first futures contract based on the MSCI EAFE (Europe, Australasia, and Far East) Index, widely regarded as the preeminent benchmark for measuring international stock market performance.

CME, the world leader in stock-index futures, has teamed with Morgan Stanley Capital International Inc. to offer an exciting new futures contract based on one of the premier international benchmark indexes available today – CME® E-mini® MSCI EAFE® futures.

Scheduled to launch in Q1 2006, this contract is designed to meet growing demand for a derivatives product on the MSCI EAFE (Europe, Australasia, and Far East) Index. With this product, investors can now access the strengths of this popular benchmark for non-U.S. equity investments combined with the benefits of trading CME E-mini futures – all from one product.
