Hi everyone, I was wondering whether anyone could give an estimation if the upcoming high performance computing / cloud technology could influence the way daytrading is done today, considering the boost in processing speed and everything? Thanks!

I think that all speed advantages have already happened and the cloud will make zero difference. Remember that the cloud has been around for a very long time and this is just rebranding and marketing for an old concept.

The cloud allows web applications to scale efficiently and economically so it's impact on day trading should (theoretically) be zero.
