Bond Set-ups
1. The 5 tic trick (5tt)
If the market is trending, look for a 5 tic retracement (pullback) as a possible place to enter a trade. Risk 2-3 tics for reversal.
2. Basis Pont Trade
Look for basis point in range for the day in either the day session or the ZB session. Look to place trade as a fade of the range, expecting the range of 1 basis point to hold. Risk 2-3 tics.
3. Open range trade-
Basics are the same as the ES trade except you use 1 tic on the high and low of the opening range.
4. Special numbers
The Bonds like to stop at these numbers 01,31,11 use the 01,and 31s whenever the market is coming from above or below the handle.
The 11s can be used at anytime.
5. Singles
Same approach as the ES except to be considered filled in singles must be filled by 3 tics.
6. Stops
Value areas are considered breached when they have been violated by more than 3 ticks (wiggle room).
