Hi rat.
I was thinking about it for a while. Apart from my specific privacy concerns, there is one more aspect making me reluctant to move there. As you probably noticed whenever I post a chart in the forum it is zoomed in and cleared of any tools which Jim pointed out as proprietary. He attached a great importance to privacy of techniques he has developed over the years even here, where data safety seems much higher than on fb. Given that, how much of my chart work is safe to publish on fb, assuming it is much less than here? So even if I try to post a chart there it would be meaningless ripped off of all the lines I used to show here. I am not excluding jpining you there guys along with others, but I am still pondering. I will keep you posted.

Hi Marcin,
I totally understand those concerns. From a privacy standpoint, the private groups on fb are not even searchable; you have to be a member to see them and have access. That said, I have no idea whether someone could hack them, and I suppose if they steal my ideas they're welcome to them ;)
I wonder often about the nature of proprietary trading info long after a forum has ceased to officially be running. For years I kept certain fibs a secret, but I have shared them more recently with a select few traders, and they are certainly not out spreading them around. They don't even really use them, but they see their value when I do. For another thing, I've seen some of these fibs crop up in different places; we know they are discoverable.
The way the group came about is that one trader friend and I were kind of finished with a larger forum where we met, as the traders are not consistent in their ability, or serious enough for our liking. The group is very constructive, and people there respect each other and their approaches. We also laugh a little and have fun.
