I need help finding my path in trading stocks

I’ve been day trading for a couple months now but I don’t feel confident enough to start with real money, the thing is I honestly don’t lose that much and if I do I try to recover but I don’t win as much either I try entering for example long but I try to be patient to watch out for a false break out And sometimes because of that I enter to late,the only thing and my personal strategy is pretty basic y just use volume ma and vwap for my Studies and I mark resistance and support lines and whenever a candle is gonna break with strong momentum I go for it..

I feel like I’m missing out on something.

what can I do or what can I look for strategy complementation and if it’s Not to much to ask for... what can I do to predict a false break out, waiting for a second or third candle confirmation makes me enter kinda late sometimes.
