New Day Trader Taxes
Hello, I started day trading, swing trading full time and investing in stocks in 2022 but made only about $8,000 (all dividends, gains included) total income. Would I still need file a US federal tax return? I would like to get Trader Tax Status but am thinking about requesting it for 2023 onward. I am day trading full time this year as well. New to this profession.
