The Greatest Trade Ever Book Review

This book covers the same subject that Michael Lewis covers in The Big Short (Inside the Doomsday Machine) and most of the same characters. While the Big Short had Michael Burry as the central character and main point of view The Greatest Trade Ever has John Paulson at the center and the story is mostly his account of what happened.

I'd suggest that you read both books but if you were only able to read one then I'd suggest this one. I feel that Michael Burry's story is more interesting from a character perspective because he had to deal with Asperger Syndrome and he was the first to setup and start shorting the toxic mortgages. However, John Paulson's story is more interesting from the financial point of view because he managed to pull the trade off most successfully.
