Charles Plosser
Charles I. Plosser became the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's 10th president and chief executive officer on August 1, 2006.
In 2011 Charles Plosser became a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee.
Plosser earned Ph.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Chicago, and he received a bachelor of engineering degree (cum laude with honors) from Vanderbilt University.
Charles Plosser is a well known inflation hawk.
