This is the last traded price in the market for the specified session. When looking at daily market this is usually the last traded price before the market stops trading for the day.

In the MyPivots Daily Notes pages the close will usually refer to the settlement price of the relevant future contract.

i.e. The close might refer to the last traded price or the settlement price.
