Uniform Policy Provisions, Health Insurance

The Uniform Policy Provisions, Health Insurance (UPPH) are a set of standard contract provisions that apply to all health insurance policies sold in the United States. The UPPH were developed by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in an effort to make health insurance policies more understandable and comparable for consumers.
