Unfiltered Data

Used to present one data feed from the exchange as being pure, unfiltered, compared to other data feeds. This is a marketing pitch. From interviews with high level developers of data feeds they will tell you that all data is unfiltered.

The refresh rate, however, is different. It is how fast the data feeds refresh or display to current market price. The lower the refresh rate, the most current market prices. The quicker the refresh rate requires more processing/server power in order to handle more data flow.

Refresh rates vary per data feed, not filtered vs unfiltered.
