The input format dictates what type of numbers are valid inputs.

Decimal

If you have selected Decimal as your Input Format then you can use numbers and a decimal point when entering the Open, High, Low, Close.

32nds

If you have selected 32nds then you can enter a bond prices of 117 31/32 in any of the following formats:
11731 (the rightmost 2 numbers are assumed to be 32nds)
117-31
117.31
117'31

32nds + halves

If you have selected Input Format as 32nds + halves then you can enter a bond prices of 117 31.5/32 in any of the following formats:
117315 (the rightmost 3 numbers are assumed to be 32nds with a single decimal point)
117-315
117.315
117'315

64ths

If you have selected 64ths then you can enter a bond prices of 117 60/64 in any of the following formats:
11760 (the rightmost 2 numbers are assumed to be 64ths)
