I see where you're coming from, but I'd probably have to treat them separately to do this. I'll see if I can come up with a way. I definitely see your concern though because on a MACG, +1.00 is being taken at the original entry and stops are being adjusted for protection to the MACG level, not the original entry level.
btw, on the MACG'able trades, the differential between T1 and T2 is one trade, and that one trade might not have been a MACG to begin with.
Either way, it'll probably be cool to track not just how many trades MACG, but how they react as MACG'd trades. I'll see what I can figure out. ;)

That last column may also help traders with different trade size capability select which trades are better "bets" for them. For example, if you only have 1 contract to trade or 5 contracts or 100 you may opt for certain trade types depending on what your expectation of win/loss is going to be which relates to the probabilities of different targets being achieved.
A quick note about how you are collecting the data. I have found that this sort of data becomes more and more useful as you accumulate a lot of it - if it is structured. By structured I mean that each record has the same fields and could be kept in a database instead of a spreadsheet. That way, when there is a lot of data it becomes easier to run queries and analysis on it - just a thought while you're going along collection this info.
Thanks again.

No problem! I hope this helps folks out!
I agree with you on the Trade Types, but I also thing that it is important to consider that if you are going to only take certain types of trade, that you must take that trade type every time it sets up. Cherry Picking probably won't work long term. I understand you're not suggesting cherry picking, I just wanted to be clear for those reading. ;)
You are absolutely correct on data accumulation as well ... the more data we can gather, the more 'meaningful' the results become as we even out some of the wild/rare results.
As far as the Database ... yah, I was thinking about dumping all of this into Access or mySQL so each trade could be recorded and the Matrix could be a report/query of that data. Unfortunately, for now, it's more than I have time to deal with. :(
btw, can we move your post and my reply to the Discussions Thread?
Thanks again for hosting this. I really hope it is helpful!

I've moved our comments to this thread and out of the Daily Updates thread and slapped myself on the wrist for making that mistake.
I've also locked the Daily Update thread so that you need to unlock it before posting a reply to it. I've made you (brokebackbernie) a moderator of this part of the forum so that you can unlock the thread and make postings to it when you want to. Just remember to lock it afterwards so people don't post to it.
Alternatively, if you forget to lock the thread or don't want to lock it, then, because you are a moderator, you have the power to delete replies to that thread. If you want to preserve the content of the reply then I suggest that you select the option to edit the reply, copy the contents onto the clipboard and paste them as a reply to another thread before you delete it.
Hope that explanation didn't confuse.

Not confused at all! And Thanks!
btw, I think Moderators can post to locked topics without unlocking them. ;)

I'm going to start using the M4/4.00 Labeled column to keep track of how many MACG'd trades stop out on the full load. If it doesn't stop on the full load and only on the MACG entry, it will be considered a standard stop.
Basically, this column will only increment if a Trade is Taken, MacGyver'd, and then stops out before anything can be taken off. ;)
