This is cool, excepting for the fact that the commissions will be the same (so I have heard), hence 10X the amount for a 'big'. But, assuming they get liquidity, I still think they will be a good training ground. I think they are 'fungible' at 10 to 1 with bigs, like ES e-mini's are fungible at 5 to 1, so the liquidity should come. We'll see, but except for the commissions, this sounds great, and I've been anxious for the launch.

I looked at a chart. no liquidity at all right now. Probably going to take a couple of quarters until it's happening.

Ah, I see, the EUR, GBP, and AUD against USD will be fully fungible, but not the others, although they will be close. Hmmm.

So, they traded this entire week? Any news anywhere on that? I didn't hear any word from anyone or see any posts.

Supposedly it started trading last Monday. I got an email from Tim Morge with a press release. That's how I found out.

I see IB has them listed, the same symbols as the big, with an M in front, so like M6E for the Euro. Funny I didn't hear anything about this all this week. Now to find out if any trading size happened...

The chart has no liquidity at all. I plugged it into Ninja to check it.

Well, from the little I have found out there they say the spread is holding at 1 pip, so that's good, but it looks like IB commission is 4.80 RT, which is a little more than the commission for a big, so it will be just over 10X the commission.

I wonder if we can get data elsewhere, or is IB printing data from more than there own trades? It may take some time for liquidity to come in, but if it doesn't start to come in, it may never come in, sometimes it works that way.
