Here are some of my paper trades that I do during the day. I know that Jim pointed out that I have done mostly YM charts, & that is true, but I decided to do some ES paper trading also, so it is be easier for me to relate to the fantastic contributions in ES and other trading that this forum's members are making.

Here are some paper trades today. Kane Trading methods rock!

Kane 4 PCP (won), Kane EXP (exited too early, lost), & Kane Fib-Pattern-Line (won).

Good Trading All,

Al Kamego

Actually, since this is a tick chart, I should not call the bar count "time symmetry." I will just stick with calling bar count "bar count" on tick charts.

The 0.886 Fibo Retrace is certainly a powerful number. Line ping pong this morning. KAne 4 PCP.

Good Trading,

Kane EXP ABCD completing at Fibo Retrace = 0.447. Price rising above 3 D at 0.886 Fibo Retrace of GLOBEX Hi-to-Lo looks interesting.

Hey, Al, nice chart. Those were the two ABCD's I mentioned in the Trading Commentary section about three hours after you did in here. I didn't read your post here yet to see that you had already posted those. Good job.

Thank you. I am thinking I will allow more time to pass before I post charts, in order to avoid avoid confusion.

Thanks again.

Jim,

Regarding your post:

Posted - 02/19/2010 : 14:10:48

"Did everyone see the standard ABCD at 5:56 AM, and the EXP ABCD at 10:01-06? There was also a smaller nice TD ABCD just after that. Lots of chances to get long if one didn't get in off the primary 'base' area of support."

I read the post but did not react to it, because I had some kind of mental glitch trying to correlate the times you gave, & the times on my chart! ie "the standard ABCD at 5:56 AM" you mentioned showed up as completing at approximately 6:56 AM on my chart. No big deal, but now I know.

Thanks.

All my times posted will be Eastern. Your chart above, based on the time scale I see below the price, shows that standard ABCD at 4:56??? That implies your chart is set to central time? Given the white dotted line that shows the 8:30 AM open, I'd say so.

Yes, you are correct. My charts are set to Central time. The ABCD completed at about 4:56AM. This is embarrasing. Please excuse the confusion on my part.

Right you are. Thanks, Jim.

No need to be embarassed at all. This is a forum for learning, if we don't put our work out there we can't learn. I make tons of 'mistakes' a day. You can't learn if you don't put it out there.

BTW, I put 'mistakes' in quotes because what most people call mistakes I see as normal parts of the learning process. It's unfortunate that we are all conditioned by the learning process to feel 'stupid' when we make a 'mistake'. So, if you raise your hand in math class and give the 'wrong' answer you feel like an idiot. This is not a very useful learning environment.

If you are conditioned not to take the risk of trying to participate because you will be made to feel 'stupid' by trying to be interactive, then that process is highly flawed. In here we don't have that approach. Everyone should be willing to interact, and then we all learn. I will critique the work presented, because that is my 'job' in the process, but it is always done in such a way that we all learn and grow. Jim's tip of the day.

Yes, I am still trying to learn more about context. Here is a Kane Flat/EXP ABCD completing at 0.300/0.447 fibo. Kane Flat ABCD Point D gets resistance at Profit Target from previous Head and Shoulders. Cool.

Good Trading,
