These type of layouts also set everyone up for double or triple stop sweeps, too.

I see only two real choices here, to have the stop where you have it, or to bail based on the chop and time passed, and figure the odds aren't there any more. In any 'normal' market I'd say the odds favor staying with it for the 4PT to play out, but they are so prone to upside I think it is about 50/50 in here which way they go with it. To make it worse, though, they may sweep it both ways, or more, before they move it. Ah, how I long for the moves of late last year and early this year...

Stop sweep number 1, or break out to the upside? I think stop sweep, but we'll see.

When it isn't trending, and there aren't net players in the market, and it chops like crazy, it's tough. Moving the stop from say 2-3 ticks above the reversal point to the .786 plus a little always has the risk of getting swept in a stop run if it is moved before it is technically indicated. Although I jumped on that bandwagon, it probably was too soon for that. My thinking was, if they plan to sweep the stops, they'd likely shoot for the 2-3 tick stops over that reversal point, so set the stop such that it won't stand up to a stop sweep, but would stand up to most technical action that implied the premise was still likely intact. Tough thing to do with such HC, though. And it does look like they are now going for either the other side stop sweep, as expected, or that was it and down we go to 900ish.

I will say one thing, for sure. If they keep this range until the close, then I suspect they want to start the trend in GLOBEX, and the for sure part is, I'm not going to be doing anything but trying to be all over that. And if it breaks down this will be one I'd want to think about holding some into GLOBEX. Just some thoughts.
