MTP applied with Ninjatrader and TTT

Hi everyone, I was asked on the Ninjatrader support forum to show how I was using MTPredictor with Ninjatrader and TTT method.

I will show just a few examples on this forum as it is easier for me that way, of course I won't show all the indicators I use with these signals as I have spent so many hours researching that I don't feel like giving them away.

So I will start with the TF Thursday May 14th. First from Richard's TTT e-mail I had this:
to start with Today was a Sell day(Wednesday). We didn't get much of a rally. ES and YM gapped down below the Buy day low and did rally to these lows, while TF and NQ opened above the Buy day low and dropped never looking back. TVGR was in effect all day.

Tomorrow (Thursday)is SS day. We do have 85% chance of getting at least back to the Buy day lows.

So from the opening TF opened at a manual DP level, based on the odds of going back to the buy day low I was a buyer at this level you could say takes some guts to do that but what about if we look at the 60 min chart and see that we are also at the 162% extension level from wave 1 and 2, hum this makes it much more interesting don't you think.

Then around 14:30 we reached the buy day low so it was now time to sell TF as we also had stochastic divergence

John everything depends on where we are at in the wave count today the 3 min was the chart with the most obvious count so I followed it today to daytrade the waves. If we have no clear waves on 3 and 5 min then I will check the 1 min to find an ABC with preferably divergence to initiate a trade.

I think the next 2 charts speak for themselves.

I hope MTP looks this good in RT. You look for divergences on all timeframes?

RT looks like that but only the section on left of chart.

the numbering of the waves is manual and Larry is pretty damm good at it

John stochastic divergence are the best low risk/reward trades you can have specially when they are at wave 5 or 9 of a higher degree wave, like we had in this last wave 5 of 5.

I will show you a few pic's from MTP V5 but V6 is much better has the GUI has been improved sorry but I don't use it as I am so used to count my own waves.

P.S Steve Griffith might post it on his blog I will e-mail him if and ask him if he can do that.

So then Rich the MTP program does label EW automatically.

yes on the EOD V6 the above charts were done automaticly

but on the RT it shows the ABC's only but shows all the swings.

Larry's count in black numbers is done by him

Larry, did you ever review Robert Miner's EW material - I found he explained EW in a simple, focused methodology.

Nope I apply simple concepts of EW and the difference compare to a lot of other people trying to apply it is the way I count corrections and the way I use MTP wave filter to spot these waves as most people don't see them like I do. This is something I have developed over the years of analyzing wave patterns on charts

That's what I call mastering EW and I don't know a lot of people who can do that

Hey, it has been long time...have you discovered any secondary indicators that work well with MTP?

Still trading divergence with EW?

John

Hi John, yes I have discovered nice indicators to help me out in my trading but they are not mine so I can't share any of them, sorry about that.
