11.25 point RTH range today. It's been running just over 21 lately, and that's way down from even recently.

Notice in GS that wedge I described in the ES, it broke up here to the 1.272 to catch the stops, and then they relentlessly sold it off. What a trap.

Can someone, Jeremy or M, post a daily chart of the ES continuous contract, ES #F (just don't put the # in the title for your chart or it won't post), using candlesticks. Look at the last nine, and especially the last six sticks. No wonder we have chop. Talk about indecision...

Well, I didn't miss much on that short on such a pathetic narrow range day. If I started scaling fast at best I might have gotten almost three points or likely less, and maybe one something as I finished. Big whup. And now they are running it like mad into the close to a new HOD. How idiotic. So, I didn't miss much after all. All in all a nothing day with maybe a few small scale outs and lots of B/E's. Such as it is for a trend trading methodology on a narrow range, low volume summer chop day. Amazing, though, that it can trade this poorly and it could be possible to finish up or B/E on the day, in my opinion. Better days for trading are ahead. I thought GS traded very nicely today, though, and it usually does.

Thanks, Jeremy. Look at those last nine candles. When you look up pathetic in the dictionary it should have a picture of those stix. Unreal. But when that range breaks, watch out.

Well, even if I did it would have been 3.5 points at the most and I certainly wouldn't have exited right at the bottom, but waited to see if it finally flushes out. So I reckon it would have been 2.5 points at the most. With all the agony of sitting through the chop still a complete waste of time imo.
