The overnight drop could be seen as CD leg of a KZ ABCD right to the lower ML of our upsloping set:

Happy new year!
Well, I hope no one minds if I'm still pretty happy with that DBC play. It is just smokin' today at another big new high. I'm not sure if this move will be over soon in here, or if this is 'the big one' I've been expecting for awhile. I'm just watching this now and seeing what it does. I can't imagine this is a 'head fake' on the commodities, I rather suspect the big speculative rally that will make '08 seem like a warm up is under way, but who knows, maybe it is just a false runup that somehow makes the hedge funds look good at year end or something, and Monday they crush them.
All I know is that I fully expect them to wrap up the final destruction of the dollar and the middle class with this upcoming commodity run, and it sure looks like it is under way now. I just hope they stop at the $10 loaf of bread and the $5-$7 gallon of pump gas. I'm afraid it may go far beyond that... I sure hope they crush them starting Monday and I'm wrong, but I doubt it...

No one would have believed it if anyone had said that in a very short while after this chart was captured crude would be over that highest swing-high on the chart...

Look at that ES finish!!! Drops like on rock on volume, they come right in for it, and they gun it up on massive volume to take out the key downtrendling TL, the HOD, the GLOBEX high, yesterday's high, and the previous GLOBEX session, all in one shot, to close it on the high tick! And they do all that with a total range for the day, including GLOBEX, of just 8.25 points!
