i trade my best when i have no big ideas in my head except those generated by the geometry.
i think one of the keys to what i do is to honor the presence of the computers in the market... unlike humans, they look to do over and over what works.thus if you collect thousands of examples of specific setups as i have, and you study when they work and when they fail, you cross over from just theory to a deeper knowledge.
in teaching my friend joed what i do, the question is over and over''which fib?''and i say ''at the geometry.''and i think i can only say that in all seriousness because of the thousands of example of each setup i have collected.

late last week the geometry of individual charts across the board said there were downside tagets that needed to be met while there were upside targets to be met in slv,tlt,gld,uco.......all triggered at the .886 on gap...... at the highs, tlt, gld, slv triggered reversals at .886 on gap while at the lows stocks hit targets and i was able to stand in the face of panic and say what i said in food for thought.. at the moment i made that post, oil was up an additional 4 bucks in over nite.... i do what i do because i am commited to the geometry we use here....DO NOT casually try to do what i do without first collecting your own examples... if you have not collected at least 1000 examples of a specific setup... i would suggest you do not trade it.....

i believe it is the previous pivot that is being corrected before price rockets higher.... as kane traders we must be on our toes and mentally prepared that time may not be aligned with price even though the geometry says now... an alternative is for flat kane abcd's to setup... before price goes to target.... that woul not violate the geometry... simply chew up time

It sure would be cool if it played out that way, roofer. It makes the most technical sense to me. I guess that's what worries me the most about it, though, it makes sense. After the Mar '09 low, I've seen more lack of sense than in all my years before that combined, multiplied many fold (I'm not saying things aren't technical since Mar '09, look at the .886 gap on 5 and our other techniques, only that many market aspects are different).
I think the biggest clue I will be watching is how the market opens tonight. A big gap over the key area and then starting to run would have me wondering. It could, though, put in a higher C point than we have here, and still play out into ABCD's. So, although I won't write the scenario off immediately on a gap up, I will be very wary of it. We'll see.

a cynic could say geez the oligarchs are always a step ahead..... they knew change was coming and they knew once the dictator was overthrown and the people would see that he had been pocketing all the oil revenue... they would open the oil spigots and collapse the price of oil.. so they paid the media to make it seem worse than it was so they could get massively hedged just as the public was getting long.......that is one thought behind the massive relative volume at this key pivot...
