jim wondered aloud if he should give up all the hair pulling and just trade .886 on gap on 5... might be worth considering...

Yes, so clear in this context too. Something I'm thinking about is going back to look over the examples I have of failed 886's, because as I take this in, the 886 is a retest of a geography already in, of a setup indicated by that swing. It isn't just an 886 of any prior swing high (low), and I'm willing to bet that many of the failures I've seen were not in fact retests of a setup that was clear.

not much to say... this was classic stuff.... after test at xmarks spot on .886 on gap on 5 then restest.... the target was medianline note the potential for tuesday....funny, everyone is all excited about''BIG MOVE''.. but note, the percentage move in CDE BASED ON THE TOOLS in one trading day was the same as all week in SPY.

Roofer's SLV charts show a lot using 4 different ML sets.
For the trade signal, you have a TD bull with b at .447, c at 127, d at 78, completing at lml on 2 different sets.
Then if that wasn't enough, you also have the dbl 127 end of swing at same point.
Then if you missed that you have the .886 on gap retesting the lml of 3 sets.
Trade went on to exceed uml on 3 sets and the ML of 1 set.
And of course you have confirmation of buying at an oversold condition with the bands and CCI.
Nice, roofer!
