I tried to find Jim's missing upsloping lines coming through the current area and here's what I've come up with:
I'm not sure if these are the ones, but if not, that would mean there are more than 4 important lines, which would only add significance to this area

So, I got my little rollover deeper into the first area, right as we near cash close. I want to give this room to see what they do here, as they may crush it in the after-cash, you never know, or in GLOBEX...

That 79.25-.50 is right at the SL that is part of forming that 'cool' line I mentioned before. What an area for it to seek out. As it closes cash sitting right on the low tick of my first area...

Jim loves to quote movies. Here's one of my favorites I've used often, from Searching for Bobby Fischer: 'There it is!' ES closes the RTH at... drum roll... 79.50!!! How did he know? I can't wait for GLOBEX. This is a for sure hold some into GLOBEX setup, based on my criteria. Who knows, it could do anything, but I want to see what it does, in case, is my viewpoint. I'll watch the SPY very closely during this time, in case anything crazy happens. Keep in mind, an ES position can be relatively 'offset' with SPY if the ES is closed and a position is open and goes against you.

77.50! Last area hit. The GLOBEX hold was the right read for me. Now I see if this area holds. If not, the next area is on the radar. Where is it? Let's have some volunteers. Maybe I'll post mine later if this keeps dropping. Got to love this action. I hope it was clear here the difference between an area for management, and one for trading against. If not, try to find my notes I posted on knowing what an area is for. Like I said, if you know the 'context' and the higher timeframe layout, it should be clear if my area is for management or trading against.

My next levels, if this moves down further, are around 81.25-82.50, and 77-78.

You all see the 'in spirit' DT ABCD here at a KZ, right??? Set up as a potential 'W4', right at the 'W1' high. Look at a 120-min all-sessions. This is a key spot.

Perhaps I gave away way too much with my last posts, as far as getting people to do their own work and figure out how to differentiate an area as for management or trading against...
Here's one crucial trading concept. If you have a key area and you are in a trade against that direction i.e. trading into the area, and you think there is some chance the area won't hold, if you are patient and see what it does, if it gives way, it may have a strong continuation move since it was a key area violation. I try to give those spots a chance. If I really want to be on the other side if the area produces a reaction then I wouldn't be that hot to give it room. It depends on my outlook. My premise for the area is dependent on my viewpoint.
It is also a timeframe issue, too. What is the timeframe on the move down, and what is it on the setup for the move up? That also comes into play as far as playing both sides. As I've discussed before, though, that's more than I can cover in a forum post. But it is very seriously incorporated into the decisions, based on the mechanics of what is possible. Timeframes are critical.

So, how's this read looking now? What I am trying to convey all the time is not setup after endless setup, like this is a run of the mill blog (as discussed in my big posts on those), but strategy. Thinking. The other aspects of the 'Trading Plan', not just the 10%-20% that is about the setup.

Hard to believe we were almost 20 points higher earlier today. It did go for another high, as I thought it would, shooting for that 95-98 area, but it died just shy the 1.128 stop run spot, falling just over a point short of the meat of the key area. One can't get stubborn waiting for full, direct hits every time. When it gets that close it becomes about reading the price action.
Now it's all about what it does from here, and it is not clear it will be setting new lows. It very well could turn up and resume the uptrend.

I have no problem if you post in the Kane public area. If we get any responses at all that are even slightly critical I'm going to delete them, no response. I am not going to address posts, as I am not going to get involved in that. So, expect responses from other area public 'regulars' to get deleted. I may also post a note saying this is 'my' area, and it is not for questioning the posts, it is for observing the posts, and replies that are critical will be deleted. Just letting you know ahead of time, roofer, what I'll be doing.
As far as viewing posts, I believe you can't see charts unless you register. You can read the text, but the charts won't show. Registration is pretty easy, though.

it has been so long.. i have 2 questions. can anyone just hit my pivots and view the public areas.. or do they have to join? and... jim asked us not to post in public areas... i have been talking to different group of traders.... would it be ok if i did presentation in kane public area for them to see? that would be easiest for me... and who knows .. we might get some new blood.
