So, although I see almost no chance (okay, perhaps one in a million) that this will open anything but up, and then rush up even more, I'm watching 1233-34 if this 1240-41 (Friday's low was 1242, close enough given that 40-41 is the center of the area, not the entire area) doesn't turn it. Like I said, though, it's Sunday night, so it should gap up and run, right?
One scenario is they bring it down a bit more, and then QE3 is announced, along with more Euro bailouts, and then we start Carl's march well into the 1300's, and then beyond. I think they will print until the collapse, as I've always said, and printing almost always leads to higher asset prices. (The value usually declines in reality, but the 'repricing' in devalued dollars has a higher number, like when Zimbabwe went into hyperinflation and in Zimbabwe dollar terms their stock market was the highest performing in the world (from a percentage standpoint)).
So, I think it is just a matter of does it go straight up from here, or do they bring it in a little first before all the additional intervention drives it higher. They may also bring it up a bit, and then down into the early AM, to get better prices, and then up tomorrow. I've mentioned that game in here frequently, too.
Got gold???

Recall, too, that I mentioned how the recent high is at a profoundly significant area by my work. If they can't breach that, that tells me something. And if they do, well, that's quite a piece of information. The most obvious thing would be a reaction and then a burst over. If the only reaction it can do is the 20 or so points it has already done, choppy and not too impulsive, then this thing wants way higher, in my opinion.

And, as suspected, the market opens... with a huge gap up. What a shocker.

Speaking of joed, his blog has been back for awhile now. How come no one mentioned it in here? And why is he back???

It looks like this blog is based on his mentoring. Good for him. And for those that get to work with him. I know some people in here expressed interest to me in working with him. I hope some do. His work seems to be the best of the best, of the best.

So, is that 50.25 low there just above the key .382, with multiple retests that time-wise pushed it right to a key line, going to be it? I got an entry trigger for an additional play here (outside the long from Friday, for those who were inclined to take a shot at that), but I'm always wary when it jumps so much so fast to move on such a shallow pullback. Most of those chop for awhile, or drop lower, in my experience. We'll see. Keep an eye on this line, though, in case it TL creeps it. In 'the old days' that used to be a reliable signal, but as I've said, since Mar 2009, those tend to break up, a totally counter-intuitive (and just plain stupid) thing for them to do...

Just got that proofread and then posted and it's already rolling over. Back at the line. Clue time.

And there's the break of the line. Like I was saying... But watch that 50.25 level still, to see how they react there.
