Just a few hours until my favorite trading time of the entire week. So, how big a gap up today? Slight gap and run? Big gap and slow grind up? After all, it's Sunday in GLOBEX, the only direction is up, right? Recall how they closed this right at a key area. Now, geometry says this may be headed down, right? Yet they like to gun things on Sunday night GLOBEX/Monday. All starting from a big coil. I can't wait...

Like I said... 'Daytrading' just doesn't get it done anymore for me. It's about the plays that set up, and what they dictate. I need to do what they dictate, not just play what times are convenient for me. Just some thoughts to ponder.

Just amazing, huh? The tick game, played right off the lower end of the GZ, and then just chop and hack it all over until cash close. It doesn't necessarily mean it won't be going down to the 82-83 area, only that for the RTH close today, they wanted to game it, play the tick game, not let it go. Keep the 7 point range for the entire session. How pathetic. It's all about the overnight, as usual.

Now, is that it? The approach here, for now, is 'management mode' on the short side. Maybe it goes for the full ABCD down a bit lower. Maybe this is a 'W3' and it has room to run down more. I'll let it do its thing and see.
Build the key areas, see what happens. Form a 'context'-based assessment (which way do you think it is going, on the traded timeframe?) and act on it, and then the chips fall where they may. Sometimes it plays out according to the plan, sometimes it doesn't. It becomes about following the plan, taking the necessary management steps as things unfold. That's trading. Then on to the next setup. Trading, according to Jim, that's all I'm showing.
