Well, just a few hours, and then we see how serious they were with that monster drop after the jobs report and that 45 minutes of trading time they had. This is going to be quite interesting, and I've been anxiously awaiting the open...

Three ticks through and dump? Just humor me, I'm fantasizing away.

Seriously, though. I am not convinced we aren't headed for new highs. Remember what I said about the Facebook IPO and the end of April beginning of May. This could fool everyone by going down early, then going up, convincing everyone that was it, then really dumping. Just something I am pondering. But, if this stays on the current track and rolls from here, I am looking at low 30's next, with a secondary area in the 40's it will have to battle. We'll see.

Very interesting reaction to the 2-tick new HOD at 84.25, huh? I'm not saying it's done, but that is very curious to say the least.

GOOG reports earnings after the bell. That should really cause something to happen. GOOG is going up like crazy intraday, and the market looks like it will close on the high tick of the day. Now, if GOOG blows out, can the market and GOOG rise more, after this day? That would be amazing. Before Mar '09 I'd say no, sell the news. It closes dead on a super-key area, after a monster rise, and then a big player announces earnings. What a dream setup.

But, that character change we started to see, well, is it gone? And what if GOOG misses? But this thing is just so strong. Right back to the manipulation madness. It's such a sell the news setup, it's just unreal. And I guess that's why I wait for triggers... But, if GOOG misses, there likely won't be any trigger, it will just dump straight down.

5 or 15-min 3D in the ES? That's interesting. It's all coming together. This is it. GOOG needs to miss...

By 1 tick. But, it looks like they want to keep the run going.

GOOG announces a stock split, and it's back to the closing price area. All this dead on the super-key ES area. This is sooooooooooooo a sell the news event, to me. But, this is post Mar '09, and I need a trigger...

Jim,

Thanks for your concern. Sorry to cause you any distress. A little note from me would have helped. It is good to be in contact with you the Kane Traders again! I think I missed some good trading. Well, I hope there will be more opportunities.
