Just preparing for a flat correction scenario.
Incredible how the top ABCD area overlaps with target zone of the failed bat setup (I left retracements from both patterns).

There's just no scenario I can imagine that doesn't have the Dow at new highs when it's this close. Just 300 points, one good day. Or 3-4 of these grindy days. Then they can say 'The market is at all-time new highs. See how effective we are?' And then a 'crisis' hits and they have free reign with public acceptance.

MSFT up today (how can that be???????????). Look at GOOG. Look at AMZN!!! Look at NFLX, up around 70% in two days. AZO, one of my key stocks I need to see break down, survived its 'breakdown' fake (draw the lateral range), snapped up, and is now taking off again. Point? There are still a lot of buyers out there, willing to chase stocks, and chase them at ridiculous prices, in my opinion. Those are not bearish conditions. This thing is still ready to rise more. Until that buying stops, there is no hint of a bear anywhere in sight. That's my take.

It just can't make it's move on 1500... Cash is trading over 1500. The 'area' this should want for today is 1504-06 (after my 1500.50-1.25). I don't understand what it is waiting for. It looks for all the world like it could sell here. And I 'know' it can't sell into a Friday close this close to such a big psychological target. On the other hand, they did run it up in the European session and down in ours (for a bit), so maybe they could sell into a Friday close... But I just can't see it...

Look at the AAPL close on a 1-min. Very curious.
