So, anyway, for the very patient, my view is this is just a ride the grind continuing long, and see what it does into the jobs report.

I also posted that chart yesterday, with comments and a VIX chart. If I recall you've posted it before, too. In a sane world that would be it for the 'bull', but I'm thinking 200% warning line... They won't stop until the system implodes, and that may be a decade away, or it may be two decades away. In the meantime we'll just get slowly bled to death with the real world middle class inflation we are experiencing now of 20%-30% per year, which is going to rise substantially I think, while the Fed says it's still too low at 1.5%, and people will just go along because 'a little inflation is good'.

This is just like those experiments in human/mass psychology where they get people to shock people and they do it. You know what I'd do? I'd rip those wires out, shove them up the experimenters a#%, crank the dial up to full and snap it off, and walk out of the room saying 'Didn't we get enough of this sh@$ with the Nazis you frickin' psycho?' But almost everyone else just does what they are told. And they allow all this, and keep believing 'a little inflation is good'. Hence, ES 3400 next, then we see. Just wait until all the Central Banks and big pension funds like CALPRS dump bonds and rush into stocks. Can anyone say Dow 250,000? 500,000? The sad part is, I'm not being sarcastic...

Anyway, as I said yesterday, that partial position holdover long looked good, it did exactly as I expected, it waited on the jobs report, and then started the rise and finished with another Jackrabbit start. This time, though, for the timid who didn't want to sit over the jobs report (I don't like to do it short-term, but on higher timeframe plays (like SPY calls) I have no issue), it gave the shakeout first for what I saw as an easy entry. Another new all-time high, 2000 within an average one day move, same old, same old. Yawn. In my opinion, a good trader has a printing press, just like the Fed. It won't last, but it may go another decade. That should be enough (this last six years should have been enough) to accumulate a lot of fiat, convert to a broad assortment of hard assets, and be as ready as possible for when fiat goes to zero in the big reset. That's all just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt, as always.

And a quick read for those that think all the news about the great jobs report even slightly resembles reality:

Interesting:

"The very concept of objective truth is fading out of the world. Lies will pass into history. During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act."

From the old Outer Limits TV show, now adapted by the Fed/Oligarchs for the market and 'the system':

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour [indefinite period], sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to – The Outer Limits.
