Since Jim is likely to have trouble typing after having landscaped cement all weekend, I will get things started.

Another great line from an article over at Zero Hedge, one that is profoundly significant, but few understand what it truly means:
"Compressed risk premiums can never be sustained “forever”."

A very long article, but if you are interested in such things, as I am, worth skimming. To me, it points out madness at a level I thought impossible.

It's something how they swept it down, huh? Just like I said on the timing factor, right on schedule. You aren't thinking sweep up now, maybe even a move up?

I also see Armstrong clarified (at least for me) what he's looking for with this first week of September thing. Here's what he said: "Yes, we may yet see the correction from the first week of September... This remains a positive development for the reversal to the upside following a shallow correction."
So, he sees yet another little dip this upcoming week, then back off to the races, for his ES 3000 by next year at this time. Just another bull. And my thinking is that this thing may go a lot higher than ES 3000 before it's done. The funny thing is, I'm not a 'bull' at all. But it will take a major shock event that creates a chain reaction to end this 'bull' (so, not just a shock event, but one that causes an uncontrollable chain reaction, not too easy of an event to come by right now). Until that happens, up it goes, indefinitely.
In that regard, it really is different this time. There is no limit to what fake numbers a person can write down on a paper. But, the part that isn't different is that some day it will end, and reprice. I just may already be in the ground when that day comes. I was hoping I'd see the collapse before natural causes got me, but now I'm thinking not likely. Just slow degradation of middle class life and increasing inflation (i.e. lowering standard of living), year after year.

Anyway, in my eyes this is a fractal of the last dip from last night, that's why I am really interested in staying up for this one. I want to see if it repeats fully, being so obvious, or if they'll game it. Anyway, my viewpoint (obviously) is long. I'm fully napped and ready to see what it does. Likely the big action will be after I've already passed out, though.
