In my experience it's never different this time.

And yeah, this is an area here at 36, with an amazing dead on timing factor. I doubt it will mean a thing.

Nice action today with the ES. Hope all you ES traders are in on this early Christmas present. Two 30 plus point days in a row!! Wow!! Nice call Jim.

Yeah, this is 2008/9 volatility. ES up over 80 in barely over 24 hours, and it may not be done (although 47 here is a little bit of a challenge area, let's say).

61-67.50 is a tough spot. But, in the overall, what would keep this from new all-time highs? Nothing I can imagine. Not even if an asteroid hit the planet out of the blue and split it in half, or knocked the earth out of its orbit, wandering into empty, sunless space. The human race would die off, and the last tick on the market for all time would be a new all-time high, guaranteed.

Anyway, for a very few I could see a probe short here.

I don't like to fight 20 point moves in one day, surely I hate fighting 40 point moves, and 40 point moves as part of 80 point moves, well... I'm just saying, for those that like to also play countertrend, I can see taking a shot here. I am up for countertrend here and there, but not this one.

Was that the shakeout for the shorts, now a little checkback?

Nope. Myself, I'm just waiting on 61-67.50 area.

Still looks like a bigger checkback is overdue...
