Starting it off. I'm expecting another insane week, as we sit on the edge of the whole house of cards giving way. This year, and the next say five years, are still going to be remembered a thousand years from now, I believe.

Recall tomorrow is a holiday, although the ES only stops trading for five hours tomorrow. Hence, I will be following like it's pretty much a regular day, as always, with just a big break in the middle. The better to have some lunch with. With machines running everything now, in my opinion, there is no such thing as 'the lunchtime lull', 'everyone leaving early on a Friday to beat the traffic' or 'get an early start on the weekend', or the summer doldrums, or holidays. To me, that is stone age thinking, and no longer applies. Machines never sleep, or take breaks. As he said in The Terminator, with 'machines' substituted for 'terminator' (and adjusted for the plural):

'Listen, and understand. Those machines are out there. They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever...'

Myself, all I see around me are people struggling to barely stay alive. And I find that the very few who are solid middle class, and they are a tiny handful, they don't seem to grasp that all their former compadres are barely alive now. They think things are fine. That strikes me as very odd, the lack of understanding, the lack of observational skills. What I see simply blows my mind. I see all the people I once knew as middle class, people with Bachelor's and Master's degrees, now deep in debt and barely able to buy groceries, falling into poverty one by one. Most are now what I would consider borderline impoverished. Look at the stats for how many kids are homeless, it's staggering, as is the approaching fifty million people on food stamps. And believe me. it is going to get a lot worse. Why put this in here? Because nothing will affect our trading in the not too distant future than the very things like this I post in here, trust me on that one.

The place in which Euro stopped on Friday may send it further down:

15-18 is the heart of current resistance area for the ES. Then 35-37, but I need to identify something in between.

Nice strong open to the futures. Should be good for a nice run into the open.

15.50 points low to high for the ES so far, by my data. Nice volatility for a Sunday. This action is just remarkable. Gosh, I love goob-er-mint manipulation.

Gave it all back, and everything's quiet elsewhere, Euro, crude, PM's. After that monster pop in silver, it's settled right down. We'll see if it stays quiet for the holiday, or not. Machines don't care about holidays, so I expect some action at some point.
