I'll start with the Pound today, as Euro has been so choppy lately, that closing day on breakeven was a success.
1.5160-5230 is a wide area, derived from weekly time frame, so I believe we are close to a substantial reaction.

it is possible to have another 30 - 50 points on spx, but I would have my eye on the .786 - .886 retrace from the high as a trigger to send it down. Oil breaks down or up hard, and I honestly can't tell which way. tlt moves down a bit move and sets up a bear trap before blasting off. Bonds are the asset the greatest number of 'experts' get wrong, and I'm not expecting them to suddenly get it right....

I got my wish there? At least a bit of it (and maybe more coming)? Really? How cool.

Key area here for the ES, so watch and see how it acts. I'd love it to tumble, but I just can't imagine they won't come in.

My timing work says the ES is just about due to come out of this medium and medium to longer-term 'range' it's been in for so long (there are two overlapping ranges). Timing only says it's going to move, it doesn't say which way, that's for technical analysis. But, it's time. Everyone thinks up, and up looks obvious. That has me wondering.

Actually I am out of sorts, but it's because I am overwhelmingly discouraged about what I see coming with our country, our government, and the financial system. I've worked hard my whole life, and the thought of them first eliminating cash, forcing us all to electronic, then going to negative 10%-20% interest rates ('gradually'), then stealing what we have, then martial law and a Mad Max world... I want to retire and enjoy the fruits of my labor, but I realize in reality that none of us have any fruits left, it's just the vast majority still believe they do.
So, I suffer alone because only the few commenters on say Zero Hedge and places like that, and the few blogs, understand what is coming at us. I kind of see no point to even bother at this point because everything I accomplish or save will all be taken from me very soon. And I shouldn't even mention that in here because it may discourage everyone and lead some to quit. Maybe I'm wrong and none of this will happen. The problem for me is I can't see it any other way no matter hard I try... Good thing I'm just one of those people who sees the end of the world coming and it never does, so just ignore my rantings.

The ES went down to the next level, but that stopped it cold, like a reinforced brick wall. I am anxious to see how this plays out from here. Exciting stuff. I love all these wild swings.

Yeah, the ES was pretty weak most of the day, just rolling in the chop range. The TF was a nice, smooth trend. For years all I followed (closely) was the Russell. I preferred it substantially over the ES. Then it moved, and it was all over for it. I may revisit it.
